You are unique

You and your loved ones are all unique!

Hello! Welcome back!

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. (NIV 1984)

We are all unique in too many ways to list. It is good to remember that verse, particularly when there seems pressure to Meaganconform in some way. I recall, when Zoe was nearly one, beating myself up if I had a rough day, especially if I compared myself to someone else who seemed to be doing it better. What a waste of time! I now know that comparing to someone else is futile and I also know that EVERYONE has bad days! Through the hormone-haze I struggled to reason with my brain and emotions. If you are in a ‘hormone-haze’ at the moment beware of those pesky chemicals – they can really push you down a path of thinking that is not healthy. It seems simple but sometimes a shower, walk or a phone call can really change the course of a day. Of course if it persists do not hesitate to see your doctor or health professional.
Not only were you created in a unique way, so was your baby and your husband. Sometimes that means you don’t see things in the same way or feel things in as deep a fashion. This can lead to discussions and sometimes arguing. When you have those moments it may help to remember that God created your husband too. It really does help to know that they’re unique too.
There is no one like you and there is no one else placed in your position to do what you are called to do. I hope this verse will help you today.
See you next week, Meags
