DueSoon Recommendation:
We recommend the Cabea Baby Belly Abdominal Band for women suffering hip and/or pelvic pain. Women suffering SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction), PGP (Pelvic Girdle Pain) or who are having pain when rolling over in bed will find relief from wearing this belt low around the hips. Women with moderate lower back pain can wear this belt higher up over their lower back. Women suffering vulvar varicosities, inguinal hernia, or prolapse can add the groin straps to this belt to support the groin and vulvar area.
The Baby Belly Band is also available in a Flip-It Beige/Black model, and in a more breathable, lightweight, and antimicrobial SPORT model!
Baby Belly Abdominal Belt Overview:
After having endured many pregnancy discomforts herself, Caroline Christensen created the Baby Belly Band system so that women across the globe could experience a more supported and comfortable pregnancy. Pregnancy is a wonderful time of life, however, many women experience mild to severe discomfort. The Baby Belly Band is a vital component in helping pregnant women find relief and experience a more comfortable and supportive pregnancy.
As the baby grows, pressure and weight can put stress on the lower back, abdomen, and pelvic floor, causing pain and fatigue. The Baby Belly Band can alleviate all of these symptoms by providing 3 unique levels of support.
Baby Belly Band for early pregnancy
At the start of pregnancy, this soft flexible abdominal band snugs around the belly providing a gentle lift, relieving lower back and abdominal strain. As pregnancy progresses, comfortable shoulder bands (sold separately) can be velcroed on to the abdominal band and wrapped under the belly, giving a significant lift. This integral part of the Baby Belly Band system redistributes weight providing even more support and relief. The strength and comfort of the fabric provides an unprecedented level of support.
Baby Belly Band for later in pregnancy
Later on in pregnancy, some women can experience painful pressure in the pelvic floor. These symptoms can be immensely relieved by adding the specially designed Baby Belly Groin Bands (sold separately). Made of soft, breathable material for total comfort. Both the groin bands and shoulder bands are easily attached using the guide marks on the abdominal band. With complete velcro compatibility on every part of the abdominal band, the Baby Belly Band is easy to adjust, so it grows with mum throughout the pregnancy. Unlike any other support wear, the Baby Belly Band blends into and can even enhance a wardrobe.
Baby Belly Band for post pregnancy
The Baby Belly Band can also be used post partum to support a caesarean section, relieve episiotomy pain, and provide relief to the lower back pain associated with carrying a new baby.

- can be worn under or over clothing

If you need even more support, you might like to consider these add-ons!
Unlike other maternity support belts, the Babybellyband® has optional add-on components to provide you with extra types of support.
The shoulder straps (sold separately) increase abdominal lift and redistribute weight. This helps to further relieve back and abdominal strain!
If pelvic floor discomfort arises from vulvar varicosities, inguinal hernia, pubic symphysis, prolapsed uterus or vagina, or just plain old pressure down under, then we would recommend using the Babybellyband® groin bands (sold separately). (Also available to purchase as a package: Groin Support Belt)
